The Western Massachusetts Committee LSPA meets the particular needs of members practicing primarily in the western portion of the state. The primary goals of the committee are to provide educational opportunities in Western Massachusetts, and to provide a forum for the regular discussion of timely MCP topics among LSPs, DEP and other individuals affected by the MCP. The committee is particularly effective at facilitating an open and congenial dialog between the DEP and LSPs, and hopes to continue this in the future. The committee often arranges to have speakers at its meetings to provide information to its members unable to attend the regular LSPA monthly meetings in the Boston area.
