LSPA Awards

The LSP Association Board, in support of a vision to motivate, inspire and encourage our profession, has established the Contribution to the Practice Awards. Each year nominations from the membership are sought and reviewed, and winners are selected in four categories of service to the Association and profession. The awards are granted at the annual Fall dinner meeting of the LSP Association.

Award Categories and Criteria

The LSPA Member Award is presented to an LSPA Member (either Full or Associate) in recognition of inspirational leadership and commitment to the LSPA organization and membership.

The LSPA Sponsor Award is presented to an allied environmental professional, technical or contractor firm in recognition of efforts to advance the state of LSP practice through research, innovation or other initiatives that bring new tools, technologies or science to the marketplace.

The Regulator Award is presented to a state or federal official for effectively balancing the needs and objectives of government, the private sector and the environment, and thereby promotes a cooperative spirit with the regulated community, practical approaches to regulatory compliance and a framework supporting economic development.

The Client Firm Award is presented to a client organization that demonstrates strong environmental values, willingness to invest in emerging technologies and a proactive philosophy toward regulatory compliance.
