March for Science on Earth Day, April 22, 2017

In case you haven’t heard, a March for Science is being organized on Earth Day this year. Actually, many marches have been organized across the country and across the Commonwealth.

The March for Science describes its mission this way:

The March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest.

Marches are planned in several Massachusetts cities, including:

Boston: 1pm to 4pm, Boston Common

Amherst: All day activities and information are planned for the Amherst Common; kid friendly.

Worcester: Gather at 10:45 am, March will be from Institute Park to Elm Park.

Keep checking back here to find a march near you.
