Share Your Expertise! EJ Volunteer Opportunity

The LSPA is proud to support the important work of organizations who are creating impact in communities across  the Commonwealth. We’re excited to share a volunteer opportunity* where your experience can make an impact!

Environmental Justice Assistance Network (EJAN): Seeking Pro Bono Environmental Professionals
Are you an LSP, attorney, public health expert, scientist, or environmental professional that is interested in providing pro bono services to New England communities? Sign up to be included in the EJAN database!

EJAN is a pro bono referral and capacity-building network that connects legal, scientific, public health, and technical experts with communities facing environmental justice challenges. EJAN supports frontline communities by addressing their legal and scientific needs and helping historically underrepresented groups build the capacity to hold decision-makers accountable and meaningfully engage in decisions that impact their health, safety, environment, culture, and quality of life.

This program provides training to both sets of partners to facilitate effective, rewarding, and accountable partnerships. Learn more about this program.

EJAN is a collaborative effort between Alternatives for Community and EnvironmentSlingshotConservation Law Foundation, and the Boston University School of Public Health.

Whether you can offer a few hours or ongoing support, your knowledge and experience can be a powerful force for equity, education, and engagement in our field.

*This program is not led/coordinated by the LSPA; rather, we’re distributing information to our members on behalf of this organization. Questions should be directed to EJAN directly.
