Risk Characterization Guidance Chapters 11-13, Public Review Draft

MassDEP is issuing this Draft Guidance for Disposal Site Risk Characterization (Risk Characterization Guidance), Chapters 11, 12 & 13, for public review, at the conclusion of which it intends to consider comments received and issue a final guidance. Additional chapters of the draft Risk Characterization Guidance will be released for public review and comment in additional phases.

Comments can be sent to the LSPA at [email protected] by September 1, 2026, for inclusion in our comment letter or directly to MassDEP by close of business on September 15, 2026, to Greg Braun.
