Membership Meeting Presentation Information The LSPA Loss Prevention Committee reviews MassDEP’s NOAFs annually to provide insight into what has caused a disposal site to be out of compliance and what actions MassDEP has determined are needed for the site to be returned to compliance. Understanding common mistakes helps LSPs proactively develop more thorough and defensible assessment, remediation, and documentation activities and remain in compliance with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan.
The LSPA February Membership meeting will present a summary of practical takeaways and lessons learned from the Loss Prevention Committee’s review of MassDEP’s FY2025 NOAFs related to:
- Downgradient Property Status
- Risk Characterization
- AULs
Each presenter will include a summary of the NOAFs they reviewed and the key topic-related issues identified. Ample time will be provided for Q&A after the presentations.
