Presenter Biographies

Presentation Description:
Acting Assistant Commissioner Callahan and Acting Deputy Commissioner Locke will identify and discuss key initiatives that will be the focus of MassDEP and Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup (BWSC) actions in the coming year. In particular, the relationship between MassDEP-wide initiatives and BWSC-specific activities, regulations and guidance will be discussed, including climate change and Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS).  They will update the LSP community on the status of budget, hiring/staffing, personnel changes and office migration and the effect these changes will have on BWSC operations in the upcoming year.  Finally, the annual exploration of BWSC-related measures of success will be unveiled.

There will be time set aside at the end of the presentation for Q&A.
