Course Description:
This course introduces the new Compendium of Analytical Methods (CAM) Protocol for PFAS analysis, based on EPA Method 1633, and includes perspectives from the laboratory, the data user, and the regulator. Importantly, this new protocol allows LSPs to achieve Presumptive Certainty for PFAS data.
Speakers will discuss the analytical method and explain what data users should expect to see in the CAM deliverable, interpretation of the laboratory deliverable and what results in the loss of presumptive certainty, and MassDEP expectations with respect to PFAS data. A Questions & Answers session with all instructors rounds out the course.
