Education Committee

  • Do you want to help formulate the training program for the LSP practice?
  • Want to get in early on training courses and make sure you have a spot in the highly-sought-after programs?
  • Want to make sure the LSPA continues to be the go-to place for continuing education?
  • Do you have training topics you wish were available to LSPs?
  • Are you looking for a way to contribute to your professional community in a practical, satisfying, and tangible way?

You want to be involved with this committee.

The Education Committee’s charge is to be the primary resource to educate and train our membership and LSPs so that they maintain competency in the assessment, characterization, and the cleanup process in a manner consistent with the requirements of the MCP and other relevant regulations and laws. We aim to provide a rich variety of educational formats including traditional class room, field-based and on-line courses, and encourage LSPA member suggestions on new topics.

The Education Committee typically meets on the third Thursday of each month from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. If you would like more information on how to join this committee, please contact one of the chairs.
