Presentation:

Characterizing groundwater at sites with PFAS contamination can be a challenge. Looking for parts per trillion (ppt) concentrations could require costly subsurface infrastructure, and ppt levels are below the detection threshold for most high-resolution tools. With Cascade’s Waterloo Advanced Profiling System (APS), environmental professionals are able to define the vertical and aerial extent and flux of PFAS plumes without multiple rounds of permanent well installation and sampling. Waterloo APS is a complete direct push subsurface data collection platform, combining high-quality discrete sampling capability with continuous, real-time hydrostratigraphic logging.

The presentation will cover the following topics:

  • Understanding the Waterloo APS tool – What it does, when to use it
  • Interpreting and Visualizing Waterloo APS Data – Leveraging the data to make decisions
  • Massachusetts PFAS Case Study
There will be time set aside at the end of the webinar for Q & A.
