Presentation Description:
The LSPA is pleased to have a presentation by Cyclopure, the developer of DEXSORB®, a novel adsorbent made with renewable beta-cyclodextrins, used to extract PFAS from drinking water, groundwater, wastewater, landfill leachate, and RO concentrate. DEXSORB is engineered to selectively adsorb PFAS without interference by natural organic matter, inorganic ions, or bioactivity. Presenters will share information about their end-to-end treatment process that combines PFAS removal with concentration of extracted PFAS for destruction.

The two presenters, Frank Cassou and Yuhan Ling, will provide a detailed overview of the DEXSORB technology and report on recent case studies of DEXSORB use in large-scale engineered treatment systems. Case studies will be presented for two pilot projects operated in Newburyport and Lynnfield. New Technology Approval is currently pending before MassDEP.

Fifteen minutes of Q&A will follow the 45-minute presentation. The webinar will be moderated by a member of the LSPA’s Technical Practices Committee.
