LSPs with July 30, 2023 renewals must renew through the current paper process.
If you are an LSP with a July 30, 2023 renewal date, please send the following to be received by July 30, 2023 to the LSP Board of Registration at 100 Cambridge St., 9th Floor, Boston, MA 02114:
- Signed renewal application form.
- Continuing education course summary form.
- Copies of your LSP Board Continuing Education Attendance Certification Forms.
- $100 check or money order (made out to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts); include your name and LSP number on the check. Before mailing, you are advised to make a photocopy and retain this copy until your cancelled check is returned.
Change of Leadership
There has been a recent change of senior leadership of the Board of Registration of Hazardous Waste Site Licensed Site Professionals. Millie Garcia-Serrano, who has been serving as the Chair of the Board since 2019, will serve as interim Executive Director while the state moves forward to fill this role on a permanent basis. She also currently serves as MassDEP’s Southeast Regional Office Regional Director and the 2022-23 President of the Association of States and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials (ASTSWMO), a national Association representing our 50 states, 5 territories and the District of Columbia whose mission is to enhance and promote effective State and Territorial programs and to affect relevant national policies for waste and materials management, environmentally sustainable practices, and environmental restoration.
Matt Lyne is the LSP Board’s Investigator/Continuing Education Coordinator, responsible for assisting the Board’s Complaint Review Teams by conducting investigations of disciplinary complaints filed against the Board’s licensees (“LSPs”), serving as the Board’s Continuing Education Coordinator, and reviewing all license renewal applications for compliance with the Board’s continuing education requirements.
Notoshia Dix is the LSP Board’s Program Coordinator, responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Board’s program activities including license applications, examinations, and renewals; billing and collection of application, exam, annual and renewal fees; maintaining the Board’s Applicant/Licensee Database; responding to inquiries about the LSP program; and coordinating the collection and tracking of revenue received, among other administrative tasks.

Among other things, the General Counsel provides staff support to the Board and Executive Director on legal and policy issues that arise primarily in the Board’s exercise of its administrative duties and serves as legal resource for the Board and Executive Director.
