MCP REDUA Refresher 

Registration: Registration must take place during business hours (8 am to 6 pm Mon. - Fri.). Within 24 hours of registration, the LSPA will provide your registration information via email. 
Availability: Once you have your login information, the course may be accessed at any time for 30 days through a web browser. At the end of 30 days, your access is terminated. No extensions will be offered. 
Technology: The course may be accessed using a computer, tablet or mobile device. All you need is a web browser and access to the Internet. Preferred browsers include: Google Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. Please note: Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) is not a supported browser.

This course has been approved by the LSP Board of Registration for 1.0 DEP Regulatory credit and 1.0 LSP Technical credit (#1730). This course was first presented by the LSPA as a live webinar (#1730) on March 4, 2021. Depending on your LSP renewal date, if you received credit then, you may be unable to receive credit for taking this course. Refer to 309 CMR 3.09(2)(c).

Course Description: 

The course is intended to familiarize participants with the purpose, content and practical application of the Representativeness Evaluation and Data Usability Assessment (REDUA) requirement in support of a Permanent Solution (pursuant to 310 CMR 40.1056(2)(k)). The course lecture will provide an overview of the “MCP Representativeness Evaluations and Data Usability Assessments” guidance document, and instruction on representativeness and data usability issues in site and risk characterization that arise in actual practice. The course objective is to give participants a concise understanding of the concepts and practical considerations involved and an appreciation of the value of incorporating representativeness and data quality concerns as standard practice of implementing and supporting MCP response actions.
