LSPA Comments on Two BWSC Draft Guidance Documents

On June 5, 2024, the LSPA sent our comments to MassDEP’s Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup (BWSC) as part of its public comment periods on two draft guidance documents: Risk Characterization Guidance, Chapters 1-5, Public Review Draft and Interim Guidance on Implementing Activity and Use Limitations (Interim AUL Guidance). LSPA Requests Nominations for 2024 Contribution to the Practice Awards

The LSP Association requests your nominations for our 2024 "Contribution to the Practice" Awards. If you know of a deserving candidate and wish to nominate the person and/or organization, please complete this form. The deadline for nominations is Friday, August 9, 2024. The awards are presented annually in the fall either via live webinar or at the LSPA’s October dinner meeting. Learn more. 

LSPA Environmental Justice Grants

We received so many strong applications in 2023.  Thank you!  We’re just sorry that we couldn’t fund them all.  Congratulations to the six grant recipients for their impressive projects (most of which are still underway).

Emerging Professionals Resources 

The LSPA's Emerging Professionals Committee (EPC) is dedicated to providing educational & social programs for professionals who are new to environmental consulting in Massachusetts. In addition to several other events, the EPC holds two annual events of great interest.
