Here’s an update from Anthony Damiano, 2012 Scholarship LSPA Scholarship Fund Recipient:
"I received the LSP Associate Scholarship in 2012 between my freshmen and sophomore years at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Since then I completed an internship with O’Reilly, Talbot & Okun Associates Inc., an engineering and geotechnical firm in Springfield, MA before graduating Cum Laude in the spring of 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Science in Environmental Science through the Commonwealth Honors College. I immediately began work on a Master’s at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst the following fall and will be graduating this spring of 2017 with a concentration in Water, Wetlands and Watersheds. The previous two summers I was working full time with New England Environmental (A Division of SWCA Environmental Consultants) primarily in natural resource permitting. I am currently seeking full time employment in the greater Boston area with an environmental consulting or engineering firm with the anticipation that I work towards becoming a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS).”
Congratulations, Anthony! Thank you for the update. Best of luck to you in your next endeavor.
